Job Title: Service Estimator     

Department: Service Department

Reports To: Service Manager

Location: Hanover, PA

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time, Hourly


Job Summary: The Estimator collaborates with the technicians and service department to efficiently and effectively process quotes.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Duties & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Generate and processes all company service quotes.
  • Source parts.
  • Quotes technicians follow ups.
  • Manages customer calls for breakdowns and runs orders.
  • Backup for Service Coordinator
  • Assist with scheduling field service activities for service technicians as needed.
  • Complete miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned by supervisor.
  • Continued training when needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to perform as a team member and through positive words and actions, support co-workers and the company.
  • Ability to think on your feet and take the initiative to get the job done.
  • Ability to problem solve, have a sharp memory, and think creatively.
  • Ability to earn loyalty and satisfaction with effective and efficient interactions with customers daily.
  • Ability to stay focused and calm while managing occasional stressful situations.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to oversee multiple tasks while prioritizing importance.

Physical Demands & Abilities:

  • Required to sit for 70% of workday.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Industrial or commercial service experience is a plus.
  • Data entry and computer skills.
  • Operating knowledge of MS Office software
  • Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills.
  • Dependable and reliable with excellent work ethics.
